Back in the hype days of NFTs, when PFPs were being traded at crazy prices I thought I’d investigate the process of creating generative NFTs. I hand drew all of the elements for the Mad Samurai creating layers for each interchangeable element and then used some clever tools to generate 500 characters. The bubble burst, rugs and scams rolled through the space and the whole thing deflated and somewhat ate itself, but it was a very interesting project to explore and I still believe there is some fun to be had with generative art and PFPs.
